In September 2017, the head of the international relations department of the Odessa State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Moskalova Khrystyna met with the Erasmus coordinator of the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the University of Rijeka, prof. Silvija Mrakovčić. During the meeting, important issues were discussed regarding the cooperation of the two higher education institutions within the framework of the European Union’s Erasmus + program and the prospects for mobility for students and employees of both universities. As a result of the discussions, an inter-institutional agreement KA107 was prepared and signed, and an application for funding for mobility between two universities is being prepared for submission to the Mobility Agency of Croatia for Erasmus projects.
In connection with that the University of Rijeka has a large test laboratory building materials and products during the meeting, the representative of the Odessa State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture Moskalova Khrystyna has got herself familiar with the existing equipment and has told about the ongoing researches. Possible joint scientific projects for the exchange of experience of employees of two universities were discussed. The positive result of the meeting is being expected a fruitful cooperation between the Odessa State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture and the University of Rijeka.
