From 9 to 24 of December, 2019, the mobility of the Vice-Rector of Research and Development, Associate Professor of Department of technologies of building production, Oleg Popov visited the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the University of Rijeka (Croatia). University of Rijeka is located in the third largest city in Croatia (after Zagreb and Split). The University was founded in 1973 and consists of 10 faculties (including Faculty of Economics and Business and Faculty of Engineering), 1 Academy of Applied Arts and 3 departments. During mobility, a course of lectures has been read, and scientific and international activities of the Odessa State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture in recent years and further cooperation in the framework of international projects was presented and discussed. The representatives of the Faculty of Civil Engineering conducted an excursion to the laboratory for testing building materials, shared the latest research and discussed the possibility of further joint research with Professor Brigita Gašparović.
