From 2 to 6 of December , 2019, Associate Professor of the Department Economics and Entrepreneurship, Kateryna Tyulkina visited the Polytechnic in Pozega (Croatia) within the framework of the Erasmus + project (STAFF MOBILITY FOR TEACHING).
International Teaching Week began with presentations from all participants, their universities, cities and countries. In the future, it was very useful to communicate and exchange teaching experience with colleagues from Brazil, Bhutan, India, Canada, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Czech Republic.
The teaching hours consisted of lectures on the following topics: "Taking into account environmental factors in regional development", "Greening the economy within the concept of sustainable development", "Methods of assessing the country's environmental sustainability" and others. The students of the institute have been active, demonstrated the ability to work in groups and solve problems facing the modern society.
The organizers have offered a very broad academic mobility program, for which we would like to express our special thanks to the coordinator at University Barbara Pisker.
The meeting with the management of the Polytechnic Institute was friendly and informative: Dean Borislav Milisevis and Vice Dean Berislav Andrlis.
Participants also had the opportunity to visit the city hall and meet with the mayor of Požega, who spoke about the history of the city and its tourism opportunities.
Although Požega small town (population about 26 thousand people), but a tour of its sights was very interesting.
The organizers also planned a visit to the Institute's vineyards and wineries.
The international dinner was interesting, where each of the participants presented their country's food.
The visit ended with a trip to the capital of Croatia - Zagreb, where the participants were immersed in the festive mood of Christmas.
