Head of Department:

Oleksandr Meneiliuk, Ph.D. in Technical Sciences, Professor, e-mail: prmai31@gmail.com

The Department of Technologies of Building Production was established in 1930. There are 19 people currently employed at the department, including 3 professors, 3 doctor of technical sciences, 10 associate professors and 12 candidates of technical sciences.

The department teaches courses for students of all institutes of the Academy. The lecture courses are presented in the form of multimedia presentations using video clips and photographs.

The department's electronic library has nearly two hundred information files on new technologies. The department pays much attention to methodical work. Only in recent years by the leading teachers of the department have prepared about 20 methodological guidelines about new technologies, 4 training aids, 2 textbooks, 9 monographs, 6 regulatory documents. This work has been repeatedly awarded by diplomas of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Building Academy of Ukraine. Textbook "Modern Building Technologies” won the All-Ukrainian Contest and was awarded the Big Silver Medal.

The scientists of the department direct the scientific work of students, graduate students, doctoral students and applicants with the scientific direction "Technology and organization of building". Over the last 10 years, 7 doctoral and more than 20 PhD theses have been defended.

The scientific potential of the department and the collected information about new technologies allows students and postgraduate students to take an active part in research work. Students' scientific works have been repeatedly awarded diplomas of winners of Ukrainian and international competitions. Almost every year, specialists carry out research on state grants.

The department cooperates with leading scientific and building organizations of Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Germany, USA, Poland, Kazakhstan.
