STUDENT ONLINE SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE DEDICATED TO THE 150TH ANNIVERSARY OF HIS BIRTH
ADOLF MINKUS
On November 12, 2020, the museum of the Odessa State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture hosted an online student scientific conference dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of Adolf Minkus.
The moderator of the conference is GI Makushin, Ph.D., Associate Professor of the Department of Ukrainian Studies. The conference was attended by first-year students of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Business and Information Technology. Students A. Voitenkov, A. Zadorozhna, Y. Pak, D. Andrievska, D. Tatarchuk opened the pages of Adolf Borysovych's biography, researched the history of buildings and structures built according to his projects in Odessa and Kyiv. The architect is considered one of the most prominent figures in the history of late Odessa historicism, modern and pre-war Soviet architecture.
