CALL FOR THE SELECTION OF FULL-TIME/ASSOCIATE PROFESSORS AND ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF FOR A WEEK EXCHANGE IN THE UNIVERSITAT POLITÈCNICA DE VALÈNCIA (SPAIN)
 
Odesa State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture and the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain) agreed to cooperate on the exchange of students and staff in the context of the Erasmus+KA107 program. https://erasmus-ka107.webs.upv.es/

 

To whom: Full-time/associate professors and administrative staff of the Odesa State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture

 

Where to: Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV).

 

What for: The selected lecturers will exchange academic experiences and explore future collaboration in common research fields. 

 

The administrative staff will participate in the Staff Weeks organized by UPV.

 

Period of the stay in the UPV: One week (five working days and two travel days) in 2022 or 2023 according to the working plan agreed with the UPV hosting staff and the Staff week calendar.

 

ELIGIBLE lecturers: Professors from the Institute of Civil Engineering
ELIGIBLE administrative staff: All Institutes and Departmens
APPLICATIONS SHOULD BE SUBMITTED: BEFORE 27.01.2023

 

THE APPLICATION SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING CONTENT:
  1. CV in English (in detail about educational, methodological and scientific activities). Must be created here: Curriculum Vitae (Europass form) https://europass.cedefop.europa.eu/documen…/curriculum-vitae
  2. Motivation letter where the applicant expresses why he/she wishes to participate in this exchange, overall objectives of the mobility, and expected outcomes on the professional development.
  3. English certificate: B1 and higher
  4. Lecturers: Draft of the working plan pre-agreed with a UPV professor
  5. Presentation material of 5 lectures in English.

SELECTION CRITERIA for full-time/associate professors
The selection committee will consider the following criteria:
English Certificate: up to (B1 0,5 point, B2 1 point, C1 1,5 points and C2 2 points)

Motivation letter: Up to 2 points
Applicant's Curriculum Vitae: up to 3 points
Proposed work plan: up to 4 points. This section will take into account the added value of mobility (for both institutions and for the participant) and the expected impact and results.
The quality and capacity of the content of the prepared lecture material: up to 4 points.

Maximum points 15

 

SELECTION CRITERIA for administrative staff

The selection committee will consider the following criteria:
English Certificate: up to (B1 0,5 point, B2 1 point, C1 1,5 points and C2 2 points)
Motivation letter: Up to 2 points
Applicant's Curriculum Vitae: up to 3 points
Proposed work plan: up to 4 points. This section will take into account the added value of mobility (for both institutions and for the participant) and the expected impact and results.

The selection of participants is carried out in accordance with the Regulation on academic mobility -https://odaba.edu.ua/upload/files/Polozhennya_pro_akademichnu_mobilnist_1.pdf
 
The selection of lecturers and administrative staff for participation in academic mobility programs is carried out by the competition commission of the Odesa State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture. The composition of the competition commission (Rector, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical work, the Head of the Department of International Relations, the Head of the employees' union) is formed by the Department of International Relations and approved by the Rector.
Competition for participation in academic mobility programs is conducted through an open procedure in accordance with the principle of equality and openness.
The competitive selection procedure is carried out by voting of the members of the competitive commission.
 
The results of the commission's work are formalized in writing in the form of a commission's work protocol. Extracts from the protocol of the commission's work are sent to the Institutes for the announcement of the results at the Institute's Academic Councils.
